Co-Curricular

​​​​​​​​​​​The aim of the College's Learning Enrichment Programs is to encourage all students to develop their interests and talents to the fullest. We have a broad range of activities including, Immersion Programs, Rostrum, Lions Youth of the Year, Debating, Tournament of Minds, Chess Club, Instrumental Music Lessons Program, award-winning Performing Arts Ensembles in Drama, Dance and Music  (Concert Band, two Stage Bands, Strings, Vocal Group and rock bands), a broad range of sporting opportunities and more. St Teresa's Catholic College participates in a range of academic endeavours, including public speaking, debating, reading quizzes and creative teamwork challenges. ​​​There also a range of clubs that students can participate in to explore areas that are of interest to them​.

St Teresa’s Catholic College offers students opportunities to study and be extended in all five art forms (Dance, Drama, Music, Film/TV and Visual Arts) and the standard and creativity of our student works are recognised by awards in a range of events. Above all, it is the supportive ‘ensemble culture’, collaborative creative risk-taking and the development of excellence in technical skill, that are our priorities. These require on going commitment for the good of the ensemble, in a genuine family spirit. 





Sport Opportunities

St Teresa’s Catholic College offers co-curricular sport participation in numerous local and state-wide competitions. These include Aerobics, Australian Rules Football, Basketball, Cricket, Netball, Rugby League, Rugby Union,Soccer, Surfing, Touch Football, and Water Polo. Students are also offered to represent the school in many other opportunities such as charity fun runs and triathlons. The sporting calendar is full of various sports and opportunities throughout the whole year with both parents and staff offering their time to coach these teams.
