​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​DANCE TROUPE 

In the after-school Dance Troupe rehearsals students develop performance skills and confidence in exploring challenging and innovative choreography. Entry is via audition and a variety of groups are offered through the year catering to different levels of ability. With the privilege of membership in our dance troupe and in order for us to work towards a standard of excellence, comes the commitment to consistent attendance, rehearsal and participation in all performances (festivals, eisteddfods, in-school and showcase events).


REHEARSALS

Junior (Grade 7-9) - ​Mondays 2:30-4:30pm 

​Senior (Grade 10-12 plus any Juniors in Senior) - Wednesday 2;30-4:30pm

Extension Troupes - Rehearsals TBC​

COST - The cost to be in Dance Troupe is $500 per annum. 

This is inclusive of all competitions, dancer passes, rehearsals, showcases and costumes throughout the year. This is a non refundable fee. 

COMPETITION DATES 2026:

  • Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod (SCDE) = 6th, 7th & 8th May @ The Events Centre Caloundra
  • The Australian Pinnale Dance Challenge = 25th & 26th July @ St Teresa's Catholic College
  • Beenleigh Dance Eisteddfod = 31st July - 9th August (one date only - yet to be confirmed) @ Logan Entertainment Centre
  • Dance X Competition = Date tbc @ Matthew Flinders ​
  • Dance X Competition Sates = Date tbc (depending qualification) 

OTHER EVENTS :

Arts Showcase = Thursday 3rd September, Week 8 Term 3 2026

Dance Night = Wednesday 21st October, Week 3 Term 4 2026
