St Teresa’s Catholic College competes in the Sunshine Coast Schools Rugby Union Competition and fields five teams in the Premier Division and has done so for the past four years. Despite still being in the relatively early stages of development of our Rugby Program, we are very proud of our achievements in our short history. All boys in the College are encouraged to represent St Teresa’s in rugby regardless of playing experience or ability. The STCC Rugby Program aims to promote the personal, social, physical, moral growth and development of our students through playing rugby. We seek to teach the game skills required, encourage and develop technical attributes and foster a tactical understanding of the game of rugby. Above all, we endeavour to instill in our players team spirit, discipline, physical fitness, co-operation, decision-making, leadership and character qualities, all of which are the core values of St Teresa’s rugby.
