On the 15th October St Teresa’s Students joined with St Vincent De Paul and many other charities and organisation that help people in need celebrating the official opening of Tait Duke Community Cottage. Our students served cake and Sari Abbot, our solo performer, sang and played the guitar beautifully. It was a wonderful learning experience for our students as they made connections with organisation like Orange Sky laundry and Sunny Street mobile medical care. The Tait Duke Community Cottage is a very special place for those in need in our local community and St Teresa’s Was honoured to be invited to participate in the day’s events. Our students now have a deeper understanding of what it means to reach to the poor and marginalised with dignity and respect.
