Please extend your best wishes to our highly creative student film-makers of 2017 as we begin to enter this year’s film festivals. In 2016 we achieved outstanding results with our student films recognised and awarded by a variety of festivals which included a screening on SBS television and FOXTEL. This week we are excited to support another group of extremely promising junior and senior filmmakers as we enter their work in the STUFFit Film Festival – a Sunshine Coast film competition run for students by students. These entries are the result of student class work in Media Arts and Senior Film/New Media & TV offered at STCC.
Our entries include many outstanding productions entered into the “Live Film and Commercial/Trailer” category. Best wishes to:
Year 12 - Hannah Wilson, Kate Corbett, Renee Rostron & Caitlin Tickner
Year 11 – Patrick Michell, Leilani Richmond, Morgan Cruice, Maya Calder & Carolyn Marcinkus
Year 8 – Noah Finigan, Luke Mullins, Jacob Barrett & Kyle O’Connell
Students interested in developing their talents and skills are also invited to apply to participate in our after school Film Club (run by Media Arts specialist Mrs Jackson).
