Eumundi Rotary Long Lunch

Eumundi Rotary Club Long Lunch

On March 11th some of our senior students were again involved in the Eumundi Rotary Club Fundraising Lunch to ensure the new Katie Rose Cottage Hospice at Doonan is up and running to cater for terminally ill patients and their families on the Sunshine Coast. This year the theme was Cabaret, and it was a funfilled lunch with entertainment held at the Eumundi Market Site.

The enthusiastic Hospitality Students were involved in assisting the chefs from the Fig Tree café to plate up the three course meal and serving it to the 390 guests attending. Last year the function raised $19,500 so we are hoping this year the same sort of total will be achieved.

The students who gave up their Sunday for such a great cause were Year 12 students Phillipa Dwyer, Remi Hunter and Maya O’Brien, and Year 11 students Gemma Campbell, Holly Strelow, Zoe Gasson, Zara Birrell and Jack Frey. Well done to these students.
